But I don't go through what I possibly might want to watch and have it cued up 
at all times.  This would be a most laborious and time consuming thing to have 
to worry about, especially considering that technology is supposed to be a 
time and effort saving device.

I really don't understand all on the anti-LiveTV sentiment.  There are some 
really valid use cases that include LiveTV.  If the software is a little 
lacking in this area then so be it but it can be fixed.
