True. Not the most elegant solution for creating a library to transfer
to the iPod (although you could use its offline conversion function to
do that, too), but for playing media at home over WiFi, Air Video is
quite brilliant. I use it with Mythlink.pl to create structure of the
form

Might seem like a lot of layers to navigate through, but in practice,
most of the time you're navigating within the current month, so it's
not so bad, and it keeps the filenames short enough to display
comfortably in the Air Video app. Closest thing you can get to an iPod
Touch MythTV Frontend.
