No, I didn't do that, I was concerned that MythTV may loose all the
recordings on that drive if I did that.

Can anyone confirm what implications removing a path from a storage group
would have?

 

If you had the space you could copy the recordings to another path in the
storage group and mythtv should pickup the recordings in their new location
as far as I understand it..
