I highly recommend the newer bcm70015 card, in addition to handling 
more video formats, it also has a built in hw scaler (only down for 
now) and consumes much less power than the bcm70012.

Also some old layout bcm70012 seem to have bad DRAM and might be 
faulty. It seems that ebay sellers got these from some unknown 
production method and they were never sold individually by Broadcom. 
Standard operating procedure when getting things made in China I 
guess.
