I have a laptop with an ATI card (01:00.0 VGA compatible controller:
ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility HD 3670)

I will never buy another one, but I must admit that the latest round
of the radeon module, DRI, mesa and X server have allowed me to
*finally* watch full screen HD videos without jerking and tearing..
Not that the CPU doesn't help, but prior it did not matter...

I'll always buy nvidia from now on anyway..  Unless a MAJOR shift in
ATI's development occurs..  Prolly great cards under windows - I do
not know...
