Paul,

Just putting the finishing touches on a system rework thanks to
Comcast killing off analog channels we watch regularly (not all, just
the ones we care about %-(.

If you go with the IguanaIR (and you're working with Mythbuntu --
otherwise YMMV), a couple of timesavers:

Just download the packages from the IguanaWorks repository.  Trying to
build ran into too many problems.

Add a boot time task (e.g. something in /etc/init.d linked to
/etc/rc[2345].d) that checks to see if the output of usb-devices
reports "(none)" for the driver for the IguanaIR or "usbfs".  If the
former, kick start the IguanaIR again with "service iguanaIR restart".
 It beats having to be there to unplug it from the USB bus and
reinsert it, ya know?
