Thanks. Found that when I started looking at the options a little closer.

Ok, so now I'm able to switch between inputs. However, while in X on myth, running a terminal window, then running vlc;
# vlc /dev/video0
All I see is garbage even as I switch between inputs. I've also tried restarting vlc each time I switch inputs. Is this indicative of an input problem of am I not using this correctly yet?
