Add to that the fact that we are dangerously close to being able to do HDMV menus in blu-ray, you can switch between titles on Blu-ray in Myth, Myth has multi-angle, proper subtitle and audio track handling... and using some hack to stream a title to XBMC is a tough sell.

Thank you to Chris for DVD and ISO playback via storage group! I'm currently using 0.23 and have all my DVDs stored in ISO format on an NAS and served via NFS

On both my FE and BE (not the same system as the NAS) I use autofs to mount the needed NFS shares from the NAS. For both the FE and the BE that currently looks something like this:

# shared directories for artwork, trailers, and ISO videos

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root      21 2010-05-10 16:46 videos -> /net/storzilla/movies

As I understand it, with storage groups I would be able to simplify my setup by NFS mounting the videos on the BE then using storage groups with the BE and FE. I would not have to share directories for artwork.

Simplification is always good. :)
