[mythtv-users] User Jobs / Moving files in Mythvideo

Hi list,

previously I put my dvdrips into the recordings stores and used
myth.rebuilddatabase.pl  to import them. The downside, I did not get
any metadata but had to input that myself, the upsides, I could delete
them easily when finished wathcing, or could move the "recordings" to
my kids recording groups and they would delete them when finished
watching.

The deleting came in 0.22 or 0.23 and that works great. I have now
tried to use mythvideo for all imported media, and while the automatic
downloading of metadata is great, I would like some way to organize
the media so that I get them out of "my" view as soon as I am done
watching.

I put everything into folders, and if I could run some kind of user
job or just have an option to move a file to another folder that would
be perfect. Of course I could move it around in a file explorer, but
we all have our own frontends without keyboards and the "server" is in
the basement, so that is a bit tedious.

Any ideas of how to do this?
