Ah, that would explain it. I'm using an old, white remote. Leave it to
Apple to change things without adding any functionality.
IIRC, the reason changing the mapping at the keycode level doesn't work
is that the Apple Remote code is hard-coded into Myth, as an alternative
to other forms of input. It's not doing any sort of IR code to keypress
mapping, it's directly saying, "this IR event does this in MFE".
You could probably put some sort of debugging code into MFE to find out
what system event is sent when clicking the button, and then modify the
code to act appropriately. Instead, you might have better luck if you
report this in mythtv-dev; the patch's author might even be aware of the
Dan Wilga "Ook."
