#Chosen IR Transmitter
TRANSMITTER="HD-PVR"
TRANSMITTER_MODULES="lirc_zilog"
TRANSMITTER_DRIVER=""
TRANSMITTER_DEVICE="/dev/lirc0"
TRANSMITTER_SOCKET=""
TRANSMITTER_LIRCD_CONF="/etc/lirc/lircd.conf"
TRANSMITTER_LIRCD_ARGS=""

Results from: ls /dev/lirc*

/dev/lirc0

So, as far as I can tell, I have things correct. Yet I cannot get a
connection using *irsend*. Not mater what I do I get the error

irsend: could not connect to socket
irsend: No such file or directory

Can anyone please help me further with this as I have googled to the point
where I have seen and read all the info out there.

Thanks, in advance, for any help that can be had!

I had the hdpvr working fine, including blaster on my ubuntu 10.04 backend.=
The blaster recently stopped working, I believe it was due to the latest k=
ernel update, 2.6.36.

I went through the complete procedure to get =
working, which I successfully did a couple months ago, but no luck after at=
