Oops! Okay I hit scan for audio devices again and the options it provides
(Up till now, I had been using ALSA:default. Here is my /etc/asound.conf if
helpful: http://pastebin.ca/2008380) I chose the 2nd one and here's the
output I got:

From the log I don't see anything suspicious except that the version
> of 0.24-fixes is already a bit old
> and you are using digital output, if your TV is connected via analog
> you won't hear a thing.
> So please provide more information:
> version of mythtv used (SVN revision)
> how your TV is connected to your PC.
> what audio device are you using with the other applications ?

Description : A Homebrew PVR project
My system is very basic, I am using a desktop computer with normal LCD
monitor, and analog sound with a Logitech z-5300e system. Hopefully the
asound.conf linked above can cover audio devices if that's what you mean?
Thanks very much :)
