When I rebuilt my Mbe this year, the OS drive I took out was a 160 GB 
Seagate.
It had 3+ years of power on time.
The 160 GB Seagate on this box has 4.1 years power on time.
Good enough for me.
Only drives I can recall burying were Maxtors. I still buy them now and 
then anyway.
Luck of the draw, I guess...
