[mythtv-users] Skip forward back delay in 0.24

I've noticed since upgrading to 0.24 that there is a long delay when skipping forward or backwards during playback. I hit 'fwd' and then after about 300 ms it finally skips. At first I thought my recordedseek table might have gotten corrupted during the upgrade, so I optimized/rebuilt. Same issue. Checking the logs.. I see this:

Dec 18 07:28:49 mythfrontend [0x0-0x119119].org.osx-bundler.MythFrontend[3232]: 2010-12-18 07:28:49.098 Player(5): Waited 100ms for video buffers AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAuL

every time I hit 'skip'. The video does not stutter or pause, it just delays skipping by about 1/4 second. VERY annoying.

Any clues? I'm using Mythcenter Wide them, Intel Mac Mini as my frontend, and a separate Intel Mac Mini as my backend.
