Well, the mythvidexport.py script Raymond Wagner wrote was kicking out
errors about QNetworkDiskCache for every recording I ran through it
until I properly set home as well:

QNetworkDiskCache::prepare() unable to open temporary file

That error is gone now as well.  I guess I should peek at packaged
init scripts before I trust them more often  :)
