In my nvidia-settings it's in the "DFP-0 (LG TV)" page under "GPU 0 -
(ION LE)" in a box on the top right labelled "Flat Panel Scaling".

Mine is currently unchecked at all and the Scaling: attribute says
"None".

Indeed, I already had this set, so it was None even when I was getting
tearing.

FWIW, the "Flat Panel Information" box to the left of the "Flat Panel
Scaling" box says that I am currently at a Native Resolution and
Frontend Resolution (i.e. both) of 1920x1080 and that my Refresh Rate:
is 59.94 Hz. IIRC however, that refresh will change depending on the
source material, which is good and what I want.

I think I have that set already. Which setup screen is it in?

Much thanx for all of the pointers!
