De-interlacing can be done by the CPU or the GPU, just as decoding can, 
but in this case, using VDPAU, it's a GPU issue.

The Atom processor is not capable of doing much in the way of de-
interlacing, at last not in real time, so the GPU is the only 
alternative with an ION setup.
