This is pretty much the "known works" card, I have one already, also a HVR-4000.

I want to put the HD-S2 into my 19E & 13E backend which is PCI only, then I can get the DVBS2 channels.

That's good to hear, do you use it with DVBS2, S2API?

If I can use a PCIe card then I can reduce the number of MythTV PC's I have from five which is too many! I can't fit 2x PCI card and a graphics card in my slave backend/ remote frontend pc but there is a spare PCIe slot.

I have a German friend who is a VDR user, I've asked him if he knows much about the Mystique/ Linux4Media cards but he's away right now. I guess if the cards are stable in VDR there's a hope they might be ok for MythTV I'm sure he can scan the vdr forums for me when he is back from holiday.
