You're using a broken video driver and the Bob deinterlacer--almost
definitely because you've got CPU+ specified as your Playback Profile
group. Change the Playback Profile group to (the default configuration
of) Slim in Utilities/Setup|Setup|TV Settings|Playback on the 3rd screen.

mythfrontend -geometry 800x600
Then go to Utilities/Setup|Setup|Appearance and change the X and Y
offset and the screen width and height to 0. Then Next, Next, ...,
Finish, then exit mythfrontend and restart it.
