Thanks for your quick reply.

I have (3) ZOTAC IONITX-A-U Atom N330 1.6GHz Dual-Core Mini ITX Intel
Motherboard front ends.

The best playback for OTA HD recordings I use is "High Quality"(no
vdpau). I have tried the stock vdpau(slim, normal, high quality) with
bad results. Also tried some custom playbacks with the same result.

Jerky, slow motion, pixelation etc...

The CPU runs about 30% usage with this. The playback is very good.

I have just noticed when playing ripped DVD's it works fine. Even
using vdpau high quality. CPU usage goes down to less then 5%.

So I'm beginning to think something else isn't configured correct for
recording OTA HD.

Currently have all the default settings -
Recording profile
Transcoder autodetect
Recording group default
Storage group default
Playback group default

And I have commercial flagging set.

The OTA recordings are very large.

Here is the file size of the David Letterman show -

7808495588

Here is the size of Casino Royale -

1696577671 and file type MPEG v4 system, version 2 ripped with
Handbrake(high profile)

Is there something I should change when scheduling OTA recordings?

Ubuntu 9.10
Myth .22
PCHD 5500
Dvico FusionHDTV7

Any input would be appreciated.
