Hey everyone!!!

Thanks again for a great free product again I can't thank you guys enough.

Ok with that being said. Awhile back I was having problem with lirc and my
pvr-350 and my lirc_serial.

I was told by Jarod to update to 2.6.32 kernel. I am now on

2.6.32.8-58.fc12 with working nvidia and a working hvr-2250 J

My lirc_serial has been working flawlessly however the pvr-350 ir in has not
been working for over a month.

I finally cannot stand going to the keyboard any more..

So my problem is seams thing to be ok in my dmesg now no errors with
anything however irw

Runs but my remote does not do anything when I push buttons.

I read somewhere about how 61 in modprobe is bad now and that is like 249(or
something like that)

So here is my local.conf file in /etc/modprobe.d/

#lirc module

alias char-major-61-0 lirc_i2c

alias char-major-61-1 lirc_serial

options lirc_serial softcarrier=1 irq=3 io=0x2f8

#######IR setup####

install lirc_i2c /sbin/modprobe ivtv; /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install
lirc_i2c

install lirc_serial setserial /dev/ttyS1 uart none; /sbin/modprobe
--ignore-install lirc_serial

alond with me /etc/rc.local file

/sbin/modprobe lirc_i2c

/sbin/modprobe lirc_serial

/usr/sbin/lircd --device=/dev/lirc0 --output=/dev/lircd

/usr/sbin/lircd --driver=default --device=/dev/lirc1 --output=/dev/lircd1
--pidfile=/var/run/lircd1.pid

Oh ya here is my lirc versions J

lirc-devel-0.8.6-4.fc12.x86_64

lirc-0.8.6-4.fc12.x86_64

lirc-libs-0.8.6-4.fc12.x86_64

lirc-doc-0.8.6-4.fc12.x86_64

I am hoping someone can tell me a quick fix so I can get my remote and my
lirc_serial going again thanks again

Steven.
