First, I want to thank you for putting together that guide.  I was finally
able to get the blaster working in Mythbuntu.  However, I don't know if it
is something I did or a side effect of the patches, but my HDPVR is no
longer stable.  I think I remember reading in the thread awhile back where
they were working on the patches that someone experienced lockups after
applying the patch.  With the number of people doing these patches now I
would assume that has been resolved, but I am having a problem with it when
using the patches.

I am able to watch and record TV, but at some point during the live TV
session the screen goes black and eventually crashes back to the main menu
with the popup error "video frame buffering failed too many times."  In
order to use the HDPVR again, I would need to power cycle it and reboot the
backend.  Below is a portion of my frontend logs including the error.

Is anyone else experiencing this after patching for the IR Blaster?  Is
