Do you have the "prompt at end of recording" option enabled? If so
disable it. There is a known issue with that option causing playback
to stop early.
How do you record these shows? What format are they in? The known
issue I'm talking about is a whole lot worse on HD-PVR H.264
recordings (it actually causes all recordings to end a little early
though).
