I wouldn't buy DVB-S because a change to DVB-S2 is imminent, if not overdue, some BBC R&D people were telling me a year ago they were planning to change by Easter, well that didn't happen, hence overdue...

Buy DVBS-2, then you are future proof, well mildly resistant anyway :-)
