[mythtv-users] Can I have my remote frontend database running as a separately named mysql database on the backend?

That's just referring to the fact that the Windows version has only 
gotten any real attention for the last year, and as such it may still be 
buggy.  There is no guarantee that it won't horribly trash your 
database, however then there isn't any guarantee the linux version of 
MythTV won't either.  It's the same warning given to people running 
trunk.  Just take the necessary precautions and back up often.

"force it" = going into the code, changing a few statics, and 
recompiling.  You really have to go out of your way to break things.
