Byron,

The ticket should be updated/closed when the patch is committed. It is
planned to have this go into trunk before the next release but it
needs to be reviewed by devs who are currently busy with other
important features. Since the next release is not that far out it
shouldn't be that long of a wait.

I remember you had some "ghosting" issues. Did you ever get that
straightened out?
