I recently upgraded my motherboard/CPU/GPU, memory etc (everything
except hard disk) and had no issues at all.  Are you planning on
keeping the same machine name/IP.. if so could you not take the whole
DB (may just need to change the playback profiles)?

I did actually have to amend the clients WOL addresses though.
