Dan, I'm just *starting* with firewire. I've got a DCT-6200 hooked up to my
master Myth backend and confirmed the firewire connection but haven't yet made
any recordings.

I was completely unable to make any connections via p2p. I can only connect
via broadcast. Could that be your issue? Have you gone back and re-run
firewire_tester?
