I'm a little confused about how to setup the playback profile for my AR1600
frontend running Mythbuntu 9.10.
If I use "VDPAU High Quality", I get choppy playback and audio out of sync
on 1080i recordings. Looking at this page:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/VDPAU
I see that the 9400 chipset (equivalent to the ION?) supports "Advanced
(2x)" only for SD recordings. Although it's supposed to support "Advanced
(1x)" for HD content, I get the same choppy playback and out-of-sync audio
using that. "Temporal (2x)" seems to work fine.
So is there some other setting I need to change in order to get "Advanced
(2x)" (or even 1x) deinterlacing to work on my AR1600? What have I missed?
