[mythtv-users] [Slightly OT, but not] MythTV w/pcHDTV-3000 w/Comcast (QAM or ??)

While I'm waiting for warmer weather (freezing rain today - everything coated in thin ice.) to get a more omni-directional outside OTA antenna up (The towers here in Champaign, IL are in diff directions), I decided to scan my ComCast for HD channels which I know they provide in addition to the analog channels (still).

Everything I've read points to the fact that they can't encrypt OTA channels (and must be clear-QAM) and silicondust's website even shows the clear QAM channel list for ComCast here.

I'd like to use them on my MythTV if I can get 'em.

Using pcHDTV's dvb tools, when I scan the CATV cable I see a lot of this with my pcHDTV-3K:

_./dtvscan -fl -o comcast_scan.txt -dvb 1 -q_

And that's across the band up into the 100's. (channel 117 is the last signal found)

Am I doing something wrong?
Is there firmware I should have? (using what's currently available on pcHDTV's site for this card)
Should I be doing the scan with MythTV's channel scanner (before I start mucking with my official channel database)?

Thanks a bunch,

  -Ben
