Mark Kendall is working on a refactoring, but it won't be ready
for 0.23. But you could try increasing the 50 ms usleep to 75
or 100, or even 250 ms. It will delay video playback startup,
but may lead to a happier household.

Another option is to hit W six or so times, it will trigger a
repaint of the chromakey, but you need to hit it enough times
to cycle back to the normal zoom level.
