[mythtv-users] Timestretch audio on IONITX-B FE

i finally have my new ION FE up and running (for the most part) and
have replaced the noisy beige box with a silent FE. my ION is
connected to my AVR (Stereo/Receiver/Amp) via HDMI. both audio and
video go through the AVR and are split out to my speakers and display
with the AVR handling all sound processing (at least that's my
intention).
sound is currently working fine when running in normal mode, but when
i switch to timestretch it goes mute. it stays muted even if i switch
back to 1.0 until i back out of the recording and initiate 'play'
again. i've been reading through a couple of the 'sound' wiki
entries, but since i seem to have sound working, or so i thought, they
don't help much when enabling timestretch.

here is my current setup:

Frontend Specs/Config:
Kernel 2.6.28
Myth 0.22-Fixes
Zotac IONITX-B w/ Atom 230 CPU & 2x2GB RAM (512MB allocated to
onboard graphics)
Playback Profile = VDPAU Normal

Setup->General->Audio System:
Audio output device: ALSA:hdmi
Passthrough output device:Default
Max Audio Channels: Stereo
Upmix: Passive
check - Enable AC3 to SPDIF passthrough
check - Enable DTS to SPDIF passthrough
uncheck - Aggressive Sound card Buffering
uncheck - Use internal volume controls

i don't appear to have any sound config files on my system (that i'm
aware of)...

any thoughts?

tia
