So there's some kernel exploit announced... well, if someone has
penetrated your home network enough to actually use it, you were
already pwned anyway. You should still exercise due diligence (NAT,
secure/no wireless, strong passwords, anti-virus and Firefox on
Windows, firewalls all around, etc) but updates -- security or
otherwise -- are high-risk / low-reward for a secured and working home
network. I'll pass, thanks.

Stability is a huge concern though... so after I set up my Myth
system, I don't touch it.
