There is and just this week in fact but if you have followed that thread 
on this mailing list, I wouldn't rush to it. I'm also not convinced yet 
that it is an HD-PVR issue. I have two HD-PVRs and in 0.22 I used to be 
able to go about 2 months before seeing this issue on either of them. In 
0.23 it happens roughly every 1 to 2 weeks on both. Not likely a 
coincidence but then I haven't had time to try and isolate the issue 
myself; I have simply observed it and corrected it when I notice a stuck 
recorder.

Note most of the time I see it stuck in recording mode which is why it 
is easy to pick up. But sometime it is stuck in idle mode.
