If you have sound going to your amp, why do you also want it going to
the TV?

With your current video card, are you using a DVI-HDMI adapter? Does the
card have a S/PDIF header? Pulse could possibly be something to look at.

As regards your HDMI-supporting card, what make and model is it? If it
supports audio over HDMI, you'll probably still need pulse. I'm assuming
your amp doesn't have HDMI inputs, as otherwise you'd be using them
already.
