I'm still running 0.21-fixes on mythbuntu 8.10. When I set this machine
up, I had similar problems getting my HDHRs to reliably work. I ended
up changing the mythbackend start order in the /etc/init.d directory,
and adding my own init script for the HDHRs to wait for them to be
ready. So the start up order became network, DHCPD, HDHR, mythbackend.
Now that ubuntu has moved to upstart, I don't know how to achieve the
same. I would hope that the myth distro (mythbuntu in my case) would
take this into account, but it didn't with 8.10. Yet another reason I
am reluctant to "upgrade".
