I do not use mythdora, but Fedora 12 and 13 both have alsa 1.0.23, so
there's no need to build it yourself:
[gpulido at starscream build]$ rpm -qa | grep alsa
alsa-lib-devel-1.0.23-1.fc12.x86_64
report-plugin-localsave-0.14-1.fc12.x86_64
report-config-localsave-0.14-1.fc12.x86_64
alsa-utils-1.0.23-3.fc12.x86_64
alsa-lib-1.0.23-1.fc12.i686
alsa-lib-1.0.23-1.fc12.x86_64
[gpulido at starscream build]$ cat /etc/redhat-release
Fedora release 12 (Constantine)
[gpulido at starscream build]$
Maybe you can use the RPMs provided with fedora 12.
Regards.
