Thanks for all your help. I found one on ebay for $17 shipped (from
Hong Kong). it works out of the box with LIRC, out of the box with my
STB, and perfectly with my HDPVR (didn't want to use the built in one
for stability reasons). It even has two outputs in case I get crazy
and add another STB.
