Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply - and sorry for not thanking you earlier. :$

To test this out, I've just asked myth to record the Athletics (something
that's on now).
On the Watch Recordings Screen, the item is green, showing that it's
currently being recorded. I can press "I", and can "Stop Recording", and
it's gone white (not recording).
I then did as you suggested, "I"|Recording Options|Allow this program to
re-record.
However, this wont work - because this isn't part of a series record. I've
told myth to allow this programme to be re-recorded in the future, however
there isn't a reoccurring schedule set up for this to be recorded - if that
makes sense?
To get it recording again, I'll have to go back out and reset up the
recording - a bit of a pain.

I'm just trying to gauge whether
1) We could have a "stop and restart" option for a case when a recording has
stalled because of poor signal and it has been manually caught.
2) But I'm more interested in whether we could automate this? i.e. if poor
signal strikes half way through a film and I'm out of the house, it would be
a shame if my recording was truncated halfway. I imagine that monitoring
the incoming stream once started and 'restarting' the recording should the
stream stop for more than a timeout value would be quite easy?

Of course, if this doesn't affect many people, I wont mention it to the devs
as they have a list of things that do affect more people.

Thanks for your help Mike,

MG
