[mythtv-users] Bluetooth keyboard / mouse lag?

I've got Myth running on an older Mac mini with Ubuntu 10.04. I recently got a Motion Computing bluetooth keyboard with a trackball. I'm finding that the computer (even when not running Myth) is not consistently responsive with this keyboard. Sometimes it works ok, others, there is massive lag between movements of the trackball and the mouse pointer. Keys will sometimes repeat many times.

Anybody here slain this dragon before?
