Erm, you're definitely *not* supposed to be running mythbackend at the same time 
as mythtv-setup. Mythbackend only reads a lot of it's configuration information 
at starup time.

Shut down mythbackend, run mythtv-setup, restart mythbackend, run 
mythfilldatabase if required (so that it can reschedule at the end).
