Hi Jedi,

thanks for your response.
Currently only NVIDIA can use Video Acceleration.
With VAAPI it is possible for Intel and AMD Chips too.
And to be honest -> Try to find a performant onboard graphic Chip that is from NVIDIA and fits into a micro ATX case.
Should be realy hard.

    What card are you worried about exactly?

    I am only aware of two families of cards that have actual Linux support
for really interesting levels of video acceleration and those are both very
well treated by the Myth developers.

    This is actually one area where one could boast better support than 
Microsoft in some respects and better support than Apple in others.
