What's nice about these remotes is their ability to be dynamic - It
looks like that VidaBox remote does a good job of listing the
available media and making it easy to launch - Boxee Remote for
iDevice does a good job of this, as do the couple MythTV iDevice
remotes I've used (I haven't tried Mythdroid).

If a touchscreen remote just duplicates the buttons on a 'hard' remote
and nothing else, it's not worth the money. But if it can organize all
the files on a media center in an easy to reach format, it's a winner
IMHO. I feel like a ton of this can be accomplished in HTML a la
Mythweb, which looks nice on an iPad but really falls short when one
has to scroll through 800 channels in the listings page.
