I am trying to get my USB MCE to wakeup and hibernate my computer.
I have managed to get it to hibernate my computer (Fedora 12)
By installing
hibernate-tuxonice-2.0-2cubbi1.noarch
and using irexec in my .lircrc file.
However I cannot for the life of me get it to wakeup my computer.
I have enabled all USB devices in
/proc/acpi/wakeup
By using command sudo sh -c 'echo "USB0" > /proc/acpi/wakeup' (on everything
in wakeup)
This works on my USB keyboard and also allows my mouse to work.
However once the computer is hibernated it disables the power on my USB MCE
Device.
I thought maybe the computer is not allowing power to the USB MCE however
the wireless USB keyboard works to wakeup.
So then I thought I would be smart and put in a powered usb hub I had in
case it was killing power.
This hub defintally powers the USB MCE device without power from computer
but when the computer HIBERNATES
It still manages to keep the USB MCE from working to Wakeup
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Steven.
