Not in frontend. Stop the backend. Run mythtv-setup. Select 1) General.
Set the IP addresses on the first page.

Since you have no other hosts listed, then you MUST use 127.0.0.1 in
In frontend Setup General you MUST identify the computer by 'localhost'
ir use 127.0.0.1

Someone typing in the wrong IP address or not entering the hostname
identifier (which is in frontend Setup General page 2) into hosts. Myth
expects the computer to properly resolve the IP, if it uses a name. A
bad network setup means that myth cannot do that...and generally then
has a problem finding the backend.

Just what I said. You should not get it from mythtv-setup, but only from
frontend, when it cannot find the backend. See above.
Note that a fix to the analog scan problem has just been put into trunk
23657. However using it requires that you download and compile the code.
Since you only have one channel, it will not do you much good so you
should stay with what you have.
Please let me know if anything I say offends you.
I may wish to offend you again in the future.
