[mythtv-users] Nvidia GT220, HDMI Audio, Avengard and 190 Drivers

I checked the mythtv wiki for a good vdpau card.  It looked like the
nvidia GT220 was one of the best.

I bought it, installed it and would now like to get it working, fully.
 I got the video and VDPAU working great.  I am able to capture video
perfectly from live tv.

However, I don't get Audio from the HDMI output.  I saw this post

on how to get the audio working but it requires newer Nvidia drivers 190+.

So I have attempted to put newer nvidia drivers in.  I installed the
avengard repo and updated.  However, when I try to update the video
driver to 195 it wants to uninstall not only mythtv, but also xserver.

What should I do to get this audio working?
