Ya it is really high, but I have seen this failure rate on various
generations of my BEs, different cases, PS, everything, but there is
good ventilation, fairly decent temps (upper 30s per smartctl), highly
rated PS with good wattage.  Maybe I just have bad luck.  At work I
have a much lower rate of disk failure then at home, but they are all
enterprise grade sas drives at work.
