Oops, on my first try I simply copied from above, in which case it was
looking in data instead of altdata.

Apparently fixed.  My first try with your fix didn't work, but it turned
out that somehow my copy of transcode had regressed to 1.0.7, and there
was an API change at 1.1.0.  I upgraded it to 1.1.5-r1 and all seems to
be running, now.  I'm going after my other 2 "Faces of America"
episodes, and that won't even get through pass 1 until after I've gone
to bed, so I won't really be able to evaluate until tomorrow.  But so
far, so good.  It hasn't died on my.

I'd like to find some way to get this generally available for Gentoo
users.  The real fix was in MythTV, not on nuvexport.  Do you have any
idea when this will make it out into mythtv-0.22-fixes, so Gentoo can
pick it up?  Your 20100301 snapshot of nuvexport should be good enough,
unless you have something more recent you'd like us to get.
