FYI, I applied your v3 patch against the version of 6200ch.c in
0.23-fixes (you can get a copy here:
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/export/24478/branches/release-0-23-fixes/mythtv/contrib/channel_changers/6200ch/6200ch.c).
 The patch applied and worked just fine, so I'm assuming you can
simply post it as a patch through bugzilla.
