I own a Samsung Plasma and am very happy with it. I chose Samsung over
Panasonic as in a side by side, I preferred the look of the Samsung
but this is always a personal opinion.

I like the look of the Samsung LED TV's and I really like that you can
hang it on a wall like a picture frame due to it being so thin. The
cost is much higher though...

The reason I chose plasma over LCD was at the time, the picture just
looked so much better, since then, The LED TV's, where they can turn
off individual LED's behind the LCD panel to provide better blacks
than what was achievable before have improved things considerably.

One thing that has not been mentioned though and is important is power
usage. Plasma panels consume a lot of energy...

And one last thought, owning a plasma, I am ALWAYS very concerned
about screen burn in, something that is not as big a problem with LCD.

Has anyone looked at the Mitsubishi laser TV's of late for comparison?
I don't believe they are available in Australia or the rest of the
world but they are available in the US from my understanding.

Cheers

Phil
